On the morning of February 16, a symposium on accelerating the transition from old to new growth drivers among key enterprises in Xiazhuang Town (High-tech Zone) was held in the company’s third-floor conference room. Recently, both at the central and local levels, strong signals have been sent in support of the development of the private sector. On the morning of February 16, the symposium took place in the third-floor conference room of Jinyonghe Company. The meeting was chaired by Ma Ming, Secretary of the Xiazhuang Town Party Committee, and was attended by Vice Mayors Han Wenhong and Zhang Shuai, as well as representatives from the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Development and Reform Commission, the Science and Technology Bureau, the Financial Office, and key enterprises of the High-tech Zone.
At the symposium, entrepreneurs spoke freely and put forward numerous valuable opinions and suggestions on how to strengthen the private sector and promote the high-quality development of enterprises in Xiazhuang Town.
After carefully listening to the remarks of the enterprise leaders, Vice Mayor Han Wenhong emphasized that, in the face of a challenging development landscape, businesses must remain firmly confident in their growth. With regard to the development of the private sector, both the central and provincial governments have introduced a series of policies aimed at helping private enterprises overcome the difficulties they encounter in their operations. All enterprises must ensure the following four points are addressed:
1. Grasp the overarching trends, maintain strong confidence, and achieve the company’s anticipated development goals. Actively stay informed about international development dynamics, cultivate a keen awareness of risks, and proactively mitigate the adverse effects of risk spillovers and risk compounding. Examples include the United States’ targeted measures against Huawei and ZTE, as well as the daunting challenges in financing, the formidable obstacles in the market, and the profound reforms underway.
2. Accelerate the development of high-tech projects: yesterday’s investments will translate into future output, and new growth drivers will enable established sectors to sprout fresh vitality, thereby invigorating enterprises from within.
3. Strive to learn, diligently hone our core competencies, maintain stability at the core, strengthen management, conduct cost accounting, practice meticulous financial planning, and ensure operational resilience, thereby mitigating risks—including financial risk, compliance risk, and security risk.
4. Accelerate the development of a talent pipeline by both attracting and cultivating talent, foster an enterprise‑wide culture of talent development, maximize the contributions of our workforce, and drive innovation across the organization.
Mayor Han stated that the challenges currently faced by enterprises are all growing pains, and thus these issues must be addressed through continued development, enabling businesses to derive a stronger sense of gain from relevant policies. In response, the Gaomi Municipal Government and its directly affiliated departments have proactively introduced a range of measures aimed at overcoming the obstacles hindering the growth of private enterprises, bolstering their confidence and resolve to accelerate development, and fostering a more favorable business environment. At the same time, Mayor Han articulated three expectations for enterprises:
1. Study actively.
2. Learn to work collaboratively with others, make the most of development platforms and teams, and treat every employee with care.
3. Follow the Party Committee’s instructions.
Entrepreneurs across the board must clearly understand and accurately assess the current situation, make sound and rigorous judgments, bolster their confidence, and step up with renewed vigor to achieve even greater results, continuously opening up new horizons for enterprise development.
